Baking soda is a base, and vinegar is an acid. When they’re combined, acids “donate” protons to bases; in this case, it’s acetic acid lending a hydrogen proton to the bicarbonate. When bicarbonate gains a hydrogen proton, it forms carbonic acid (or H2CO3) which is unstable and eventually decomposes.

The carbon dioxide gained in the reaction is what makes it bubbly, which looks appealing. But once the bubbles stop, you’re left with “glorified water.”

It’s simply not as effective as you think. Or as it’s trending all over social media…

For baking soda soaks simply use 1 teaspoon baking soda to every 2 cups cold water. If your produce is on a vine, such as tomatoes, or leafy like a head of lettuce, separate the produce and remove all vines and outer leaves. Submerge the fruit or vegetables in the baking soda water. Let soak for 12 to 15 minutes.
LET 👏🏽 THEM 👏🏽DRY 👏🏽COMPLETELY. Then promptly store in fridge and never do more than you can eat within a few days if from the grocery store.
1. Buying organic fruits and veggies or even growing your own doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wash them.
The produce can get contaminated by neighboring soils that use pesticides or even ones left in the soil. Yes they are far less exposed to pesticides but there are pesticides used in organic farming, but they’re derived from natural substances rather than synthetic ones. Regardless of whether a pesticide is organic or synthetic, it can still be dangerously toxic in certain doses. It’s also why I call bs to the “Dirty dozen” and “clean 15”. It’s just designed by people (EWG which I despise) to force organic produce and their personal agendas on people but that is a topic for another day. 😤

It is essential to note that washing produce only removes the dirt, microbes and pesticides on the surface, not microbes that can survive cold water or pesticides that have leached into the produce while it was growing.

Food for thought-
Fruits and vegetables keep us alive. Juicing can be a healthy way to increase your daily intake of fruits and vegetables, it shouldn’t be the only thing that you consume in your diet. Nor should it replace fresh, whole fruits and vegetables – especially since it removes insoluble fiber. For these reasons, I recommend that you add juicing to your diet and try your best to eat anti-inflammatory foods, eating for your hormonal type. Juicing and even smoothies aren’t for weight loss. It allows you to incorporate more fruits and vegetables in your diets. This will not only ensure that you receive vital nutrients but also improve your health while taking additional steps to improve your gut health.

Which one will you try- smoothie or juicing?

🤤 O 👏🏽M👏🏽G👏🏽 🤤 First of 🤤 O 👏🏽M👏🏽G👏🏽 🤤

First of all you need this in your life like yesterday

Second of all scroll back up and read the first of all one more time 🙌🏽

I made Kiwi and yellow dragonfruit ice cubes last week and thought they would be a fun addition

I used @drinkkatys dragonfruit tea and steeped that

Chopped some red and yellow dragonfruit, mango, and strawberries (and you can see I had to fight for the strawberries)

Muddled everything but the strawberries partially, put my fruit ice in there and filled with the tea.

Now personally I thought this one was better than Starbucks plus what this does for the gut… whew 😅

Will you try it? Gone head and save it cuz I know you will 🤣🩷🙌🏽

Are you dealing with any of these? Generally, the Are you dealing with any of these?

Generally, the extent and effects of chronic inflammation vary with the cause of the inflammation and the ability of the body to repair and overcome the damage. But most are undiagnosed or doing the wrong things for THEIR body and hormonal type.

You’ve almost certainly heard the phrase: chronic inflammation. But many of us have a hazy understanding of what it means.

Simply put, this ongoing immune-system reaction can be a symptom of autoimmune and other serious illnesses. But it also plays a role in the disease process of many life-threatening conditions.

In fact, more than 50% of all deaths worldwide are attributed to chronic inflammatory diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, dementia, stroke and diabetes.

it’s so important to know the signs of chronic inflammation and what to do if you notice them. And rest assured, you are not powerless against chronic inflammation and I can help.

I know it can be frustrating trying to navigate your health alone, and finally reach your goals. You’ve been told you have simply cut carbs, go vegan, ditch dairy, wear a waist trainer or drink this magic potion or overpriced and over processed protein powder only to be giving your life away to the porcelain gods afraid to move 3ft from the toilet…

All lies- that’s not to say the first three won’t work or help you… but it can be temporary and for most a waste of time.

I take the guess and check out if it for my clients and my 9 time award winning program is getting a face lift with tons of recipes attached to further help you reach your CUSTOMIZED GOALS 💁🏽‍♀️

Have you experienced any of these? Toxins are ha Have you experienced any of these?

Toxins are harmful substances that are derived from food, water, cleaning products, and other environmental sources that we are exposed to regularly. An accumulation of toxins may become poisonous in the human body, which may lead to potential damage to vital organs and systems.

Considering that these toxins enter our body by ingestion (preservatives, additives, and food contamination), inhalation (pollutants in the air we breathe) and absorption (through skin and eyes), the risk of toxic overload is a common concern.

Internally, autointoxication is the process where the toxins are produced by your own body as a result of poor digestion and elimination.

Here are the other six ways-

-General aches and pains
-Fatigue and low energy
-Inability to feel rested after sleep
-Compromised resistance to infections
-Inability to lose weight/belly fat
-Fuzzy thinking

Most would think they need a “detox” but what you actually need is to learn avoidance, support your body and it’s natural detoxification and a hormone specific protocol.
