Today is world health day, and I want you to really think about this. Would you change your lifestyle? Look at what πππ did to cause it? What you could do to change it? Would you even really care or consider it an inconvenience? Over 900,000 people die annually of preventable things.
You see I was given a year to live in 2008 as a single struggling mom. My health was declining, I was in and out of the hospital, I couldnβt keep food down. I was having seizures, migraines, had food sensitivities, body aches, nausea with no explanation. My hereditary dark circles were getting worse. I was visiting doctor after doctor feeling like a lab rat. Not getting answers. I wanted to give up, I was constantly drained and high due to prescription after prescription that werenβt helping me improve at all. Just masking what was going on with me as doctors shuffled me around and around. My weight had dropped to under 100 pounds, my gut was unhealthy. My hair was falling out, and yet I pretended everything was fine. Because I had too. I had to go to work, I had to take care of my daughter, I had tooβ¦.

Dove, Lysol, Tide, Windex, Dial, Bath and body works, Victoriaβs Secret, Fabuloso, Dawn, Clorox, Mrs. Meyers, Carmex, Burts bees, and FebreezeΒ were just a few companies that contributed to my declining health my lupus, fibromyalgia as well as depression. Not sure if you know but using National brand cleaners once a week in your home is the equivalent to smoking a pack of cigarettes a dayβ¦ for 20 years.
Not only do they use chemicals and synthetic fragrances, but most donβt care enough to even label correctly because itβs not required and free and clear, natural mean nothing. They can legally use umbrella ingredients that are in fact toxic chemicals and you are none the wiser, because you love the smell or are conditioned to think itβs really cleaning etc.

Our health is the most important part of our life. Your health is at the center of your life. Every part of your life relies on you having good health. You cannot climb higher in all the other seven areas of your life if you do not have enough physical energy to devote to each of them.
Routine doctor visits are important, but only account for 10 percent of what determines your health. Social and environmental factors are twice as important at 20 percent. And genetics (what you inherit from your family) comes in at 30 percent.
If you are suffering from (or navigating through life pretending you are fine and have it under control), migraines, asthma, allergies, obesity, high blood pressure, fupa, lack of energy, unhealthy sleeping habits, cancer, diabetes, cholesterol, anxiety, depression, eczema, dry skin, acne, itching, hair faking out (and so many other things), I encourage you to take a look at your everyday products and even those claiming to be natural and non toxic.
Modest estimates have suggested that we are exposed to more than 700,000 different toxic chemicals on a daily basis, and this doesn’t include the crazy poisons that GMO companies are pumping into the food supply. According to Global Healing Center, it isn’t abnormal to be exposed to 2,100,000 toxinseach and every day.
Moms are some of the busiest people on the planet. We work long hours and rarely allow ourselves a break. But we moms need to take care of ourselves, too, so we can feel whole and offer our families the best of us. It isnβt about being selfish, itβs about stewarding the body God has gifted us with. Honestly, I donβt believe we are doing anyone any favors by neglecting our healthβphysical, mental, emotional, or spiritual.
What if you could better your health, what if you could save time and money? What if you could better the health of the people you love the most and stop allowing big companies to harm you. What if you had the power to stop willingly unwillingly harming yourself and your family. Iβm glad someone told me how, letβs schedule a 20 minute toxic tour with and see how you can improve your health and avoid the downward spiral.
